In this Food Network series, chefs compete for $10,000 by turning baskets of mystery ingredients into a three-course meal.
Helped develop the pilot and supervise the first 10 seasons, working closely with executive producers to shape the show’s early format, pacing, and creative direction. Provided creative oversight across casting, episodic structure, and on-set crew and talent direction. Interviewed and wrote episodes. Oversaw creative through post-production while helping to build and scale workflows from pre-production through post to support ongoing series production.
PERFORMANCE:
Following its launch, Chopped became one of the longest running, and top performing shows on the network, spanning more than 50 seasons and over 700 episodes. The series expanded into multiple spin-offs, including Chopped Junior and tournament-style specials, and has been widely recognized within food television and broader pop culture.
The series was awarded the James Beard award for best Studio Television Program, and has been recognized with multiple Critics Choice Television Awards (6 wins/nominations).
